THE KINDS OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND WHY
When you come to our site, we collect information only for the purpose of providing you with current information, news, events listings, and product offerings that we provide, and in the case where you want to enter our membership area, or be entitled to special member features, we also need to confirm that you are really one of our members, or that you have permission from your parents to become a member here.
IF YOU ARE JUST VISITING
When you just visit the site, and read information on any of our public web pages, we create a temporary unique customer number for you that is stored as a "cookie" (see definitions below). The cookie is made up of a randomly unique combination of letters and numbers, and does not contain any information that would otherwise be related to you or your computer in any way. This cookie is only kept while you are at our site, and you keep your web browser open. As soon as you close your web browser, the cookie is deleted, and no record is kept of that cookie.
IF YOU ARE SHOPPING IN OUR WEB STORE
When you shop in our shopping area, we need to collect more information if you want to buy any of our great products. The information we collect in our shopping area is your Name, your mailing address, phone and email, as well as the name and address of where you want your purchase sent to if it is going somewhere else. We also gather payment information - if you have a credit card or if your parent or legal guardian is with you and they provide their credit card information, so that we may be paid for the things you buy. If you or your parents or legal guardian want to send us the credit card information, when you check out you can choose this option, and then you or your parents can call us on the phone to make the payment. Or, you or your parents or legal guardian can choose to pay us by sending us a check in the mail if you want.
CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
If you or your parents or legal guardian provide us with credit card information, we do verify that the card number you give us is real, that it is an active credit card account, and also that there is enough credit available for the purchase. If everything is good with the credit card, or if you choose to pay by calling in the card number or sending us a check, we send you an email confirmation of the actual order so you can have a record of it.
When we get the completed order, we then charge the proper amount to that credit card.
JOINING OUR COMMUNITY
If you want to join our community, or become a preferred customer of ours, once again we need to ask for personal information. In this case, we need to know your name, your age, and the name of your parent or guardian as well as contact information for them, if you are under 13 years old, because we are required by law to get their permission to give you membership access to our site.
CONTESTS AND GIVEAWAYS
When we have contests or giveaways on the site, we will need to have a way to contact you if you haven’t already provided that to us, and we will only use this information for the purpose of contacting you if you win.
WHERE WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION
We keep our customer database in a separate location away from our web site, so if someone hacks into the site, or illegally gets into the directory where our site is stored on the web server computer, they can only see the files in that area, and not the database where your personal information is kept.
CHANGES TO OUR POLICY
If we do ever have a reason to give out member or customer information to other companies or individuals in the future, we will tell you about it first, both by posting it here on the site, and if we have your email address or the address of your parents or legal guardian, by email. We will always ask for permission before we do so, and your parents or legal guardian will always have the ability to agree to us collecting your information without consenting to the disclosure to third parties.
ONLY WHAT WE NEED
We will never require you to give us more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in an activity as a condition of participation.
RIGHT TO DELETE YOUR INFORMATION
You, your parents or legal guardian can review your personal information if we have obtained it. You or They can ask us to delete it, and they can refuse us to allow any further collection or use of your information.

DEFINITIONS
COOKIE

If you choose to, we will leave your membership cookie on your computer so you don’t need to put in your userID and password every time. We do NOT put your UserID, your Password Or your Name or contact information in your membership cookie though.
